Workshop of Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure within the framework of the \u201ctransport logistic 2019\u201d trade fair on 5 June 2019 in Munich<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure hosted again a workshop on the transport of dangerous goods within the framework of the \u201ctransport logistic 2019\u201d trade fair in Munich; the focus of the workshop was on the use of electronic transport documents to enhance safety, security and economic efficiency.<\/p>\n

During the workshop, particular emphasis was placed on the activities to develop guidelines on the use of an electronic transport document. The objective of these guidelines is to support the introduction and evolution of a harmonized system for the use of electronic transport documents during the national and international transport of dangerous goods. To this end, recent developments in companies and authorities were presented. In addition, information on the planned regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on electronic freight transport information (eFTI) and its significance with regard to the system agreed for the transport of dangerous goods have been provided.<\/p>\n
