{"id":2581,"date":"2021-07-20T13:53:01","date_gmt":"2021-07-20T12:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/albrechtconsult.com\/?p=2581"},"modified":"2021-07-20T13:53:01","modified_gmt":"2021-07-20T12:53:01","slug":"traffic-signal-system-related-application-for-v2x-networking-in-the-accord-research-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/albrechtconsult.com\/en\/traffic-signal-system-related-application-for-v2x-networking-in-the-accord-research-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic signal system-related application for V2X networking in the ACCorD research project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the research project &#8220;Corridor for New Mobility Aachen &#8211; D\u00fcsseldorf&#8221; (ACCorD), which started on 1.1.2020, Stra\u00dfen.NRW is testing the networking between vehicle and infrastructure at selected locations as an example for the use cases &#8220;switching time prediction&#8221;, &#8220;green time request&#8221; and &#8220;traffic situation&#8221; based on vehicle data. For each of the three use cases, one or two use cases are taken into account according to the currently valid version of the C-ROADS specifications.<\/p>\n<p>With ACCorD, Stra\u00dfen.NRW is pursuing several goals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the one hand, the application of the above-mentioned use cases is to be tested to evaluate both the effort and the expected benefits for traffic signal control and its integration into higher-level traffic management.<\/li>\n<li>On the other hand, the system and solution approach of different manufacturers regarding the traffic light infrastructure is to be tested and evaluated under real conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The specific tasks of AlbrechtConsult in the project are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WP1: Concept development for the project process<\/li>\n<li>WP 2: Development of the solution model<\/li>\n<li>WP3: Specification of technical core components &amp; functions relevant to ACCorD<\/li>\n<li>WP4: Specification of local V2X components<\/li>\n<li>WP5: Participation in tendering and awarding of contracts<\/li>\n<li>WP6: Construction supervision and quality assurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the research project &#8220;Corridor for New Mobility Aachen &#8211; D\u00fcsseldorf&#8221; (ACCorD), which started on 1.1.2020, Stra\u00dfen.NRW is testing the networking between vehicle and infrastructure at selected locations as an example for the use cases &#8220;switching time prediction&#8221;, &#8220;green time request&#8221; and &#8220;traffic situation&#8221; based on vehicle data.
