RIS COMEX (RIS Corridor Management Execution) is a multi-beneficiary project funded by the CEF Framework Programme aiming at the definition, specification, implementation and sustainable operation of harmonised corridor RIS services following the results of the CoRISMa study. RIS COMEX started in 2016 and will last until the end of 2020. The project area comprises a total of 13 different European countries (FR, LU, BE, NL, DE, AT, CZ, SK, HU, HR, RO, RS, BG) with 15 partners, which have joined forces under the coordination of the Austrian Waterway Administration viadonau with the common goal of implementing corridor RIS services in inland navigation. In detail this includes
Reliable route planning through the availability of dynamic and static infrastructure data,
reliable calculation of travel times for travel planning and traffic management,
Improving the transport management of logistics partners.
Within this framework, AlbrechtConsult has taken on the task of developing an RIS corridor concept for the future system architecture on behalf of the Directorate-General for Waterways and Shipping (GDWS).
