As a subcontractor of ISB AG, AlbrechtConsult will participate in the project “Concept for the generation of an ISO-compliant UML model and generation of a GML application schema for DATEX II to improve interoperability” of the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt).
The aim of the project is the development of a procedure to generate a GML application scheme based on the UML model of DATEX II in largely automated process steps. A set of rules for a model transformation is required as a necessary prerequisite for this, with which the existing DATEX-II-UML model can be transformed into an ISO-19103-compliant UML model. Thus the basis shall be created to carry these aspects into the specification process of DATEX II and thus to contribute to an improvement of the interoperability of traffic data, static road data and general geodata.
