AlbrechtConsult will be responsible for planning services
On behalf of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport, AlbrechtConsult, together with Trafficon, Brilon Bondzio Weiser, City & Bits and Krisp Content, will carry out the project phases of basic evaluation, preliminary planning and conceptual design for a cross-authority, regional traffic management system for the Heilbronn Neckarsulm region.
The project aims to develop new traffic management strategies for the region that are not based on jurisdictional boundaries, but on everyday traffic challenges. Stakeholders who have not yet been involved in the organisation of traffic management in the region will also be involved.
Within the consortium, AlbrechtConsult will provide planning services for applying C-ITS and using artificial intelligence (AI) as part of the strategies.
The conceptual planning is expected to be completed in summer 2026.
